Play Therapy
At CIE, in our play therapy we provide a unique play-filled therapeutic space for children, but also for adolescents and families. Play therapy is a way of spending time with a child that honors their developmental level and speaks to them in their language which is often to ‘play.’ This type of treatment works best when a parent or guardian is actively involved in the process no matter the nature of the problem.
This mental health approach can help heal the burden of:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief
- ADHD
- Sensory processing issues
- Autism spectrum
- Traumatic experiences
- Developmental delays
- Conduct issues
- Emotional disturbances
Play is a great way to connect, learn, communicate, and grow.
