Behavior Health Assessments
In some cases a comprehensive behavioral health evaluation is requested by a client; recommended by collateral or ordered by a third party. This assessment includes an in-depth and detailed assessment of the individual’s mental, emotional, social, and behavioral functioning to identify if a psychiatric syndrome and/or substance use disorder is operative.
When the behavioral health evaluation is complete, the licensed clinician will:
- Review findings and provide initial diagnostic impression determined from the assessment;
- Provide a full report to the client as well as other individuals the client authorizes;
- Recommend appropriate and ideal treatment options available based on clinical needs identified in the assessment; and
- Assist the client and family and/or support system to access treatment options if requested.
